Rebecca (Becks) Wright     Rebecca is a trained dancer (ballet, modern jazz, contemporary, hip hop, salsa) as well as being a gymnast.  She has a Bachelor of Arts (Education, Dance and Popular Music).   Rebecca Wright has performed on and off with "The Mermaids" from January 2005. She travelled around New Zealand with the band - from Wanaka, Waiheke Island, Rotorua, Wanganui and Hamilton to Auckland, and that just in the first week. Rebecca has a soul style voice with a great range and strength especially in the upper register.  She completed additional vocal training in the UK during 2005. Rebecca Wright played the lead female role in the New Zealand production of Andrew Lloyd Webber' "Starlight Express" during 2009, on roller skates. She also performed a lead role in "Rent" and the title role of "Cinderella", both in Auckland during 2010.	Rebecca has sung with several other covers bands prior to this group.   She has also toured with several musical theatre productions.  She appeared as a solo performer at the 2005 Christmas in the Park and "Starlight Symphony".   Rebecca was a part of NZ Idol 2006.
