This is a predominantly nylon guitar album with a few electric tracks also included.  Mixed, engineered as always by Doug Jane

This CD is also part of the "Together" Collection package, a best of "Piano by Candlelight" and "Espresso Guitar" featuring photographs from the M.I.L.K. exhibition and released in the USA late 2002.  This was presented on the Oprah Winfrey Christmas Gift Special televised in America on 25th November 2002 and screened on New Zealand television February 17th 2003

It  includes two newly recorded tracks "Ain't No Sunshine" and "When We Dance".  This CD was originally intended only for the American market but there has been ample demand for this CD from New Zealand retail.

1998 Martin Winch recorded and released through Thom Marketing/Sony Music ESPRESSO GUITAR which attained triple platinum status in New Zealand holding the #1 position in the album charts during September, 1998.

"Espresso Guitar" attained Triple Platinum album status in New Zealand and Gold in Australia. 

Album cover on left: 1986 - the follow-up to "Sahara" - more original compositions comprised the self-titled "Martin Winch" album (Kiwi-Pacific 1986).About this time he moved to Auckland where he produced, as well as played on albums for Kenny Pearsons' Power Band (Jazz Album of the year 1990) amongst others.

1984 - Martin Winch recorded his critically acclaimed original guitar instrumental jazz/fusion/rock album "Sahara" (RCA 1984). Includes powerhouse track "Lodestone".
